Building Momentum for a Better Tomorrow
Brandon Russell is a 2010 graduate of Grove City High School who grew up in the South Western City School District, surrounded by a community that shaped his character and values. Sports were a big part of his life, teaching him teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.
Going into his senior year, when the levy failure temporarily removed sports programs, he experienced firsthand how deeply decisions within the district affect students—not just in the classroom, but in the activities that give them confidence and a sense of belonging.
A lifelong friend of Steve Feucht’s son, Brandon has known the Feucht family for more than 26 years. Steve’s encouragement and example played a lasting role in Brandon’s life during his formative years, leaving him with lessons about service, perseverance, and giving back that continue to guide him today.
After graduation, Brandon served his country honorably as a United States Marine Corps Infantryman. He deployed overseas twice—experiences that taught him the true meaning of sacrifice, responsibility, and brotherhood. The Marine Corps instilled in him a deep sense of duty, integrity, and leadership under pressure—qualities that continue to shape the way he approaches challenges in every area of life.
Now living in Southeastern Pennsylvania with his wife and two children, Brandon continues to carry the lessons and values shaped by the South Western City community. Though no longer a resident of the district, his connection remains strong: the friendships he built, the Feucht family still deeply rooted in the schools, and the impact South Western City Schools had on his life are why he supports Steve’s campaign. For Brandon, it’s about ensuring today’s students have the same opportunities and support that once shaped his own future.
Today, while raising his young family, Brandon also uses his background in technology as a programmer and web developer. Creating this campaign website has been more than just a project—it’s a way to honor his roots, the people who shaped him, and the values of service, family, and integrity that remain at the heart of his life.
